Our home is a household of peace — Isaiah 32:18, “My people shall dwell in a peaceful habitation; in a secure dwelling and in a quiet resting place.”

Our home is an illuminated house — Exodus 10:23, “…but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”

Our home is off limits to sickness — Psalm 91:10, “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling.”

Our home is a salvation household — Luke 19:9, “And Jesus said to him, Today, salvation has come to this household…”

Our home is a blessed household — Proverbs 3:33, “…but He blesses the habitation of the just.”

Our home is off limits to vandalism — Proverbs 24:15, “Lay not wait, O wicked man against the dwellings of the righteous; do not spoil his resting place.”

Our home is off limits to falling objects — Isaiah 4:5, “And the Lord will create over your dwelling place a canopy of protection by day and night. Above all the homes this will be a covering and a defense.”

Our home is a happy home — Esther 8:16-17, “The Jews had light and gladness, joy and honor. And in every province and city wherever the king’s command and decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a holiday.

Our home is a missionary outpost to our subdivision. It’s an evangelistic center to our neighborhood, and it’s a half-way house between the non-Christian world and the Christian Church. — Job 11:18-19, “You will be secure, because there is hope; you will look about you and take your rest in safety. You will lie down, with no one to make you afraid, and many will court your favor.
