Decree and Receive

As you begin to mature in the Lord, God wants you to come to the place where you decree things and speak them into existence. As a believer, you have that authority and it is scriptural for you to do it. You can take authority over problems, difficulties, circumstances and situations. You can decree that fear and confusion be gone from your life and those around about you. This is part of your inheritance as a child of God.

The word “decree” means to issue an edict — to order or determine what is to be done in a particular matter. I am going to show you in the scripture how God decreed things and how it is His will for you and I to do it.

First, read Job 22:28, “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee:…” Who is “Thou”? That is you. “Thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee.” You can decree things when you know God’s Word and talk in line with it. The devil has stopped most of God’s people from being bold enough to believe in the supernatural. They are limiting what God can do by not standing steadfast upon the Word of God.

Now, read Mark 11:22, “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.” Literally it means, “Have a God-kind of faith.” The 23rd verse says, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; HE shall have whatsoever he saith.”

Who is Jesus speaking to when He says “he”? Take your finger and point it at yourself and say, “Me.” The Word is speaking to me and I believe it. Read verse 23 again like this: “For verily Jesus saith unto me, that if I shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in my heart, but shall believe that those things which I saith shall come to pass; I shall have whatsoever I saith.” That is putting it personally to you. The Bible is written to you.

You should come to the place where you can speak to the mountain of sickness, fear, frustration or confusion. Whether it be spiritual, physical, mental, or financial, He has given you the authority through the New Birth to speak to these things and make them be moved into the sea.

Romans 10:8 says, “But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is, the word of faith, which we preach;” I quote it “The word of faith is nigh me even in my mouth.” Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that “whosoever shall say unto his mountain (spiritual, physical, mental, or financial), be thou removed into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart, he shall have whatsoever he saith.” If the devil can keep you from coming forth with the boldness of speaking to the mountain, he will keep you running around all your life wishing and hoping.

Job 22:28 says that if YOU decree a thing, it shall be established unto YOU. When you learn to decree things and speak in line with the Word of God, then God will take your word and honor it. If it does not line up with the scripture, then it will not work. So whenever you speak in line with scripture, it will come to pass.

I. Determine God’s Conduct

The first thing in knowing how to decree and receive is to determine God’s conduct. Let us see what God did. Genesis 1:3-31 is a good example. Genesis 1:3 says, “And God said, Let there be light.” What did He do? He said it.

Genesis 1:6 says, “And God said, “Let there be…”; Genesis 1:9, “And God said, Let the waters…”; Genesis 1:11, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass,…”; Genesis 1:14, “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament…”; Genesis 1:16, “And God made two great lights;…”; Genesis 1:20, “And God said, Let the waters…”; Genesis 1:24, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth…”; Genesis 1:26, “And God said, Let us make man in our image,…”

In the 27th verse it says, “So God created man…”; and in the 31st verse, “And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.”

How did God operate? How did He create and make? Create and make are two different words. Create means that He spoke it into being with His mouth. Making requires use of visible ingredients. He made man out of dust. He took faith by the words of His mouth and created. He literally brought it into existence from an invisible substance called FAITH. You create something that is not there, but you make something out of something else.

God needed to create, so He spoke. He said, “Let there be…”, “let there be…”, “let there be…,” “let there be…”. This is also what Jesus did. And throughout the Bible we see that the prophets and men and women of God did the same thing. We too are supposed to decree and receive.

Job 22:28 says that you shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto you. That means that when you speak forth words of faith, it is literally an extension of you. When you learn to speak against the devil, sickness, fear, frustration, failure and defeat, you will find that your victorious life is an extension of you.

If you go around saying, “I am sick. I am sick. I am sick. I do not believe I am going to make it.”, your life tomorrow is going to be an extension of what you say today. If you go around saying, “I cannot do it. I cannot do it.”, then your tomorrow is going to be an extension of what you say today. Every word that comes forth out of your mouth is spirit. It is either taken by God and brought back upon you or it is taken by the devil.

“I love you. I appreciate you. You are very attentive.” What do those words do?

“You knuckle-headed, hard-headed people, you are not listening. Wake up out there.” Isn’t there something different about those words. They are just words, but they affect you. Husbands and wives and sons and daughters can effect each other by words. WORDS ARE POWER. Use them correctly.

Isaiah 48:3 says that whenever God says something, it comes to pass. When you say something, it comes to pass, too, good or bad. Most of you are saying too much bad and that is why you have so many troubles. Your tomorrows are an extension of what you say today.

II. Determine Extent of God’s Work in Man

Let us determine the extent of God’s work in man. Genesis 1:26 says, “God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” God is a Spirit. So if we are made in the image and likeness of God, we are a spirit. Man is three-fold. He is spirit, soul and body. I am a spirit. I have a soul (my mind, will and emotions). And I live in a body. It is the tabernacle. I Corinthians 6:19 says, “Know ye not that your body is the temple (or tabernacle) of the Holy Spirit of God?” You cannot see God because He is an invisible Spirit. He said, “Let us make man in our image.” If He made us in His image, then we are to do what He does.

My children are born of flesh in my image so they can speak, see, smell, taste, hear and touch. Since we are made in the image of God, we can do God-like things. God spoke things into existence. He decreed things and they were established unto Him. We are to do likewise.

John 15:4-5 says, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. (5) I am the vine, ye are the branched: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” He says that He is the vine and we are the branches. The branch has the same sap in it that comes from the vine. The bark that is on the branch is like the bark that is on the vine. The fruit that is on the branch is what comes forth from the vine. A branch that is connected to the vine can produce.

You need to realize that you are in Christ and Christ is in you. Jesus is the vine and you are the branch. If the sap comes out of the vine into the branch, it will produce the same things that the vine produces. The branch that is connected to a grape vine produces grapes, pears produce pears and apples produce apples. The Bible says that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. We are in union with Jesus. We can, in this world, produce identical fruit that Jesus produced because He is in us to enable us to do it. That is how God will be glorified and people will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Most saints of God live such frustrated, defeated lives that they cannot influence anyone to Jesus. One time you will see them praising God. And the next time you see then, they have the double mully-grubs.

Listen folks, we are hooked to the vine. We can walk in victory all the time. II Peter 1:3-4 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.” You already have it. It was given to you when you were born of God.

I receive eyes, nose, legs, arms and heart when I was born of man and I received the divine attributes of God when I was born of God. So did you. I did not get my natural heart ten years after I was born. I did not get my mouth, nose and eyes ten years after I was born. I could use them better ten years later, but I am using the same ones that I received when I was born. When you learn what your divine attributes are, you can begin to use them also.

(Continuing with the third verse of II Peter) “through the knowledge of him that hast called us to glory and virtue: (4) Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE.” “Divine” refers to the nature of God and Jesus. He says we are partakers. That means we are sharers of the divine nature of God. We are participators in the divine nature of God because we have been born of God.

I am a partaker of human nature because I was born of Elbert and Bernice Willis. Because of this birth, I became a partaker or sharer of human nature, human attributes and human qualities. But there came a day when I had another birth. “Flesh is born of flesh and spirit is born of Spirit.” When I was born of flesh, I partook of human nature. When I was born of God, I partook of the nature of God. Christ in me is the hope of glory. The God of the universe in the form of the Holy Spirit is living in every saint, but most do not know it. They go around with their spiritual hands bound and their spiritual eyes closed, just sitting somewhere. They walk and talk and move and do everything, but spiritually they are not partaking of that divine nature of God.

If you partake of the divine nature, you can do the things that God did. When I partook of the human nature, I could do the things that my parents did. My daddy and momma can talk, walk, eat and sleep. There are certain things involved in the divine nature. If you know Jesus Christ as your Personal Savior, you have had two births. You can go through life just using your natural abilities, but God wants you to learn how to come up into that spiritual arena, be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and utilize the attributes from your spiritual birth. Then you will walk in victory.

“The love of God is shed abroad in my heart.” I have God’s love just like I have a heart. I was born with a heart at my human birth. I have God’s love from my spiritual nature because Romans 5:5 says that the love of God is shed abroad in my heart. That is present tense. That is NOW.

All you have to do is believe the Word of God and you have the divine nature of divine love in you. Romans 5:5 says, “…Because the love of GOD is shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” It is in your spirit, but you must learn how to release it.

God spoke and created man in His image. There is a divine law that like begets like. Dogs beget dogs, cats beget cats, and cows beget cows. What do you think God begot when He made man? When you were born of God, you were not born of a donkey. Some Christians act like it. They do not know about their spiritual birth-rights and divine nature. It is inconceivable to most Christians that God is inside of them. They do not know that the love, power, joy and victory of the Lord is inside of them. They do not know that they do not have to yield to circumstances and situations of the world, but can take faith in the Word of God and change the world’s circumstances and situations and make them line up with the Word of God. Most Christians line up with the world.

The world says, “Oh, you have to be sick. You have to be down sometimes and up sometimes. You have to be frustrated, confused and worried.” Jesus said not to worry. Somebody is lying and it is not Jesus.

My natural nature wants to go with the world. But there is a nature inside of me that goes by the Word of God. I have a choice. I can believe what the world says or stand upon the Word.

When God did not like things, He changed them. If you do not like the way your life is, feed yourself on the Word of God and change the situation. God did not like the void out there so He said, “world.” He did not like the darkness so He turned it to light. He did not like the bareness of the earth so He said, “trees.” If you do not like the world that you are living in, get your faith working and change it. That is what God did.

III. Examine Jesus’ Conduct

There was a storm brewing and Jesus was asleep in the boat. All the apostles were saying, “We are going to die. The storm is going to kill us.” They woke Jesus up and He said, “Wind, be still. Waters, be calm.”

Jesus said in John 4:34, “My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me, and to finish His work.” If He did the will of Him who sent Him, then it must have been the will of Him who sent Him to take authority over the wind.

Do you really believe the Bible? No, you want to believe your worldly concept of it. Do not believe what religion has told you. It will bind you up and steal from you. Religion is of man. Christianity is of God. There is a big difference between religion and Christianity. We have plenty of religion in America today but it produces nothing. It is dead and it produces dead things. Christianity produces life.

John 6:38 says, “For I came down from heaven, not to do Min own will, but the will of Him that sent Me.” So when Jesus stopped the wind, He was doing God’s will. He did what God did. He said, “Wind be still.” I could give you many scriptures to support this.

John 5:19 says, “Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do:…” What did He see the Father do? Jesus was there when God made the universe. He saw the Father say, “Sun, be in the sky.”

“The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.”

What is He saying? He is saying that He does not do anything unless the Father does it. If He stopped the wind, that was the Father’s will.

John 8:28 says, “Then said Jesus unto them. When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, AND THAT I DO NOTHING OF MYSELF; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.”

John 14:10 says, “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the WORKS.”

What I am doing is showing you that God spoke things into existence. God said for you to decree a thing and it would be established unto you. Jesus said that whosoever shall say…shall have whatsoever he says. Romans 10:8 says, “The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy ears:…” You are made in the image of God. God spoke and made things. You speak and make things, either good or bad.

Here are some more examples of what Jesus did:

Mark 2:5 says, “When Jesus saw their faith, he SAID unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.”

Mark 4:39 says, “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and SAID unto the sea, Peace, be still.…”

Mark 5:34 says, “And he SAID unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.”

Mark 5:41 says, “And he took the damsel by the hand, and SAID unto her, …Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.”

Mark 7:29 says, “And he SAID unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of they daughter.”

Mark 9:23 says, “Jesus SAID unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to HIM that BELIEVETH.”

Mark 10:52 says, “And Jesus SAID unto him, Go thy way; they faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.”

“Brother Willis, why are we not doing more of these things today?”

Because we do not believe that what we say shall come to pass when we say it in the Name of Jesus. When I lay hands on someone, I say, “In the Name of Jesus, be healed.” I believe that they are healed because I say it in the Name of Jesus. I say it through the authority and power that is in the Name of Jesus. He has given authority and power to all believers.

Mark 16:15-20 says, “And he SAID UNTO THEM, God ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (17) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name (in the Name of Jesus) shall they cast out devils; They shall speak with new tongue; (18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them.” You do not drink something poisonous on purpose. He said, “If you do…” If you accidentally drink some poisonous water, it will not kill you, if you believe the Word of God. But if you believe that you will have to get your stomach pumped, then that is what you will have to do. That is where your faith is.

“They shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. (19) So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. (20) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following.”

For many years as a Baptist preacher, I read through verse 15 where it says, “Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Then I would jump down to verses 19 and 20. I would skip the part about speaking in tongues, casting out devils, and laying hands on the sick. I did not know what to do with it.

We are examining Jesus’ conduct. Jesus said that He never did anything but what the Father told Him to do. So, if Jesus did nothing but the will of the Father, then we can look at Jesus and see what the will of the Father is.

You say, “I want to be in God’s will.” All you have to do is read the Bible.

Jesus said, “I only do the will of the Father.” What did Jesus do? He cast out devils, healed the sick, raised the dead, commanded the waters to be still and the winds to stop. Do you want to be like Jesus? Learn to SAY. He said…

The word “said” in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John is mentioned so many times that I would not even take the time to count them. If Jesus was a “sayer” and He did the will of the Father, then we ought to be “sayers” also.

IV. Accept Jesus’ Instructions

John 14:12 says, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” He says that greater works shall we do because He goes to the Father.

“Well, Brother Willis, why can I do greater works because He went to the Father?”

Jesus came, lived, died, defeated the devil, arose again, is now seated at the right hand of the Father, and has sent the Holy Spirit back to live inside of us so that we can do the works of Jesus. We can do them because God is inside of us. When Jesus was here, He was just one man. He could only be in one place. But when Jesus left, the Holy Spirit came back. He can be everywhere and in everyone that believes.

All we have to do is accept Jesus’ instructions. What did Jesus say to do? He went around “saying”…

“You mean, Brother Willis, I have to go around saying…?”

Yes.

Mark 11:23 says that we have to say unto the mountains. What mountain? It may be a mountain of disease, fear, frustration, failure, defeat, lack of direction, uncertainty, disappointment, hurt or resentment. He wants us to say unto our mountains, “Be gone in the Name of Jesus.”

Say, “Father, in the Name of Jesus, I claim my son. I ask you to save him. I believe right now by faith he is saved, in the Name of Jesus. He is saved.”

From that time on, you just decree it. “I say, in the Name of Jesus, my son is saved.”

“He is acting like the devil.”

“I say he is saved. I say, in Jesus’ Name, he is saved.”

The pain gets worse in your body. “I say, in the Name of Jesus, I am healed. I decree that I received it when I prayed.”

Did you notice Jesus having a prayer meeting before He did those things? You do your praying and believing then you do your saying.

V. Know He Gave You the Faith to Achieve

Romans 12:3 says that God has given to every Christian the measure of faith.

How much is the measure? It is enough faith for the greatest miracle in the world, which is salvation. If you know Jesus, then the faith He saved you with is enough for the greatest miracle. If you have enough faith for the greatest miracle of salvation, then healing, baptism in the Holy Spirit, casting out devils, walking in victory, getting all of your financial needs met, and receiving protection from the angels of the Lord are less. Everything is less than salvation. So, if the measure He gave you at birth was enough for the greatest miracle, then you have enough faith for all others. But you have to begin to feed upon the Word of God and learn how to say it.

“I will not have this fear. In the Name of Jesus, I say I will not be afraid because the Word says that God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I say in the Name of Jesus, I will not be afraid.”

I say in the Name of Jesus, that I will not worry because Jesus said not to worry. Anything trying to make me worry is not of Jesus. So I say in the Name of Jesus, get your hands off of me and get out of here in the Name of Jesus. I will not worry.”

“Jesus said that He bore my sickness and my infirmity, so I will not be sick.”

“I say my husband is saved in the Name of Jesus. I say he is saved.” And you say it and say it and say it because the Bible says that if you decree a thing it shall be established unto you. The pressure gets rough but you say, “I will not have it.”

The devil says that you do not love people, but you say, “The love of God is shed abroad in my heart. In Jesus’ Name, I say it because the Word says it.” Your senses and your emotions say that you want to knock them down. Your hands want to hit them, but you say, “I say, in the Name of Jesus, the love of God is shed abroad in my heart. I go by the Word of God. I say in Jesus’ Name, I do not go by what I see, hear, smell, taste or feel. I say in the Name of Jesus, I go by the Word of God, and the Word of God alone.”

You do not say what your body says, but what the Word of God says. As you say what Jesus told you to say, you are staying in line with the Word of God and Jesus can say, “Amen.”

Romans 8:37 says that you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. What anybody else says is wrong because God’s Word is true.

I John 4:4 says that you are of God and He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world. So I say, “In the Name of Jesus, he that is in me is greater than he that is in the world.”

II Corinthians 2:14 says that God always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus.

The mountain may look so big that you do not know if you can climb it. The river may look so wide that it looks like you cannot swim it. The valley looks so deep that it looks like you cannot get across it, but God says that you always triumph in Christ Jesus. Say, “Mountain, come down. Valley, come up. Water, get narrow, in the Name of Jesus.” That is what you do.

There has to be a boldness. But most saints get out there and say, “Now mountain, listen to me. I am going to tell you to move. You had better get out of my way.”

Jesus was like the Lion of Judah. A lion roars. When he attacks he roars. When you attack the devil, roar in the Name of Jesus. That is where the authority and power are. You do not come up and say, “Now mountain, I am healed. I believe I am healed.”

What you need to do is meditate on the Word and let it get built up inside of you. Then you are ready to pounce on that disease. You roar, “In the Name of Jesus, I was healed at Calvary. I say, I will not accept this disease because Jesus already bore it. I say, I will not have it. I am healed, in Jesus’ Name.” And keep saying it.

The Bible says to submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee. The devil does not like people to speak the Word. He likes you to walk around saying, “Well, I do not know if God still heals or not.” Malachi 3:6 says that He is the Lord God and He changes not. Hebrews 13:8 says that He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Brother Willis, how about this?

Fooey with the but’s. Jesus said that He was the same yesterday, today and forever. I believe Jesus. I do not believe the but’s, the if’s or the or’s. I believe Jesus. He is the one that said for us to say.

VI. Recognize Value of Decreeing

David charged the giant by decreeing what he was going to do. David got his sling, took out toward Goliath and said, “I am going to kill you, you uncircumcised Philistine. You have come here against the kings and armies of Israel. I am going to slay you, cut off your head and feed it to the birds.”

Goliath just laughed and that is what the world does today when we Davids come though saying what we are going to do. The world says, “Ho, ho, ho.” And the next thing you know, “ping.”

It was a great thing that the man of God slew the giant. It is also great for you and I to say things and see them come to pass. But that was not the real miracle. When David killed the giant, there were thousands if Israelites in fear for their lives. They had lack of courage and confidence. But when they saw David raise up his sword and chop Goliath’s head off, the fear began to leave them and hope began to rise up inside of them. They said, “Boys, let us go get them.”

God wants men and women to have decreeing faith, not just so they can say that they have their bills paid off, are healthy and walk in victory, but so they can be an example. He wants people who will challenge the world and let it know that Jesus Christ is still alive.

There were four other giants besides Goliath. David killed one of them, but if you read in Samuel, you will find that later on some of the guys will David said, “David killed Goliath. I am going to get me one, too.” One giant killer cause four others to be giant killers and eventually all of Israel rose up. Today God is raising up a few giant killers to cause a lot of other to be giant killers and walk in victory in the Name of Jesus. His purpose is to teach men and women how to walk in the anointing of the Holy Spirit of God and be killers of fear, frustration, worry, defeat, sickness, disease, insecurity, hurt, disappointment and everything else the devil puts on them. Then they will be examples to others who love God.

Those Israelites up on the hill loved God. There are many in our churches today who love God. As our light begins to shine and as we begin to kill the giants and walk in victory, those Christians who are in bondage will look. Some of them will not come down from their ivory towers, but some will look and say, “I think I will get out of this ivory tower.” I want to tell you saints of God, that is where the blessings are.

I appreciate the opportunity God has given me to speak forth this strong Word. I have seen people come to C. T. C. loaded with fears and frustrations and now have the victory. I have seen them come here sick and now they are healed. I have seen them come with the mully-grubs and now they are shouting. I have seen them come with their kids off somewhere and now they are saved. I am blessed of all men just to have the privilege to teach the Word to people who are hungry for more of God and want to be bold and get out there in giant-killing-land and kill the giants in Jesus’ Name.

Do you understand the value of decreeing? It is not just for your own benefit. That is good, but that is not the real value. The real value is how it can encourage and challenge others to walk in victory.

Hebrews 11:20 says, “By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. Blessed means that he spoke to them about things to come.

The 21st verse says, “By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshiped, leaning upon the top of his staff.”

Hebrews 11:22 says, “By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.” He said, “When you leave Egypt take my bones with you.” And folks, they took his bones with them because Joseph had faith to say it. He put those words in the air and God got a hold of them and put those words in the hearts of the Israelites. When they left, they took his bones with them.

In Exodus it says that Moses jumped up on a rock near the Red Sea and said, “Be still. Fear not.”

He said, “I know that the Red Sea is out there. I know that the army is behind us. But, stand still. Fear not.” The he decreed something. He said, “You are not going to see the Egyptian army any more. You are going to see the salvation of God this day.”

And the Father said, “My boy has given me some words to work with.”

Give the Father words to work with and He will do it in your life. But, if you give the devil words to work with, he will do it in your life also. Give the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit words that agree and line up with the Bible. Say what the Bible says and all the powers of darkness and the devil in hell cannot keep God from bringing it to pass in your life.

Confess this: “I say in the Name of Jesus that Jesus bore my sicknesses and my infirmities. I will not bear them because Jesus already bore them. I say that Jesus redeemed me from sin and I have an abundant life. He redeemed me from sickness. I have health. He redeemed me from poverty. The blessings of the Lord have made me rich. I life in prosperity because Jesus said it and I believe it.

I will not be defeated because God always causes me to triumph in Christ Jesus. I will not be afraid because Jesus said He has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. I am not alone. Jesus said that He would never leave me, nor forsake me. He will be with me until the ends of the world. I am not lonely because Jesus is with me.

I am saved. I am going to heaven. I am a conqueror. I am an overcomer. I am a peacemaker. I am a lover.”

Mark 11:23 says, “Verily I say unto you, That whosoever will say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

“Brother Willis, how do I build this decreeing faith inside of me?”

By confessing it. Romans 10:17 says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. The more you say that you are what the Word says, the more you can do what the Word says. The more you say it with your mouth, the more it builds deep inside of you. Your mind gets renewed to it, but if you do not say it, it will not come to pass. Thinking is good but you have to say it. God thought and planned out the world in His mind. But the Bible does not say that He thought it into existence. It says that He said….

Jesus looked at the sick and He said, “Be healed.” He looked at the blind and He said, “Eyes, be opened.” He came to the grave and said, “Lazarus, come forth.”

Saints of God, we are created in the image of God. We ought to be “saying.” We are to be men and women that create and make the circumstances and situations around us line up with the Word of God.
